Funeral services for Mr. Raymond Carl “R.C”. Hayden, age 88, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, May 5, 2011, at The Pentecostals of the Twin Cities. Officiating will be Pastor Mark Foster, Pastor Emeritus Fred Foster, Pastor Tom Foster and Rev. Buck Treadway. Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery in Eros, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of West Monroe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond A. and Mildred Hayden; brothers, Glen Doyle Hayden, Milton Hayden, Preston Hayden; sister, Edwina Jarrell and one great grandchild, Gabriel Marlin. R.C. is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Elouise Hayden; daughters, Pat Treadway and her husband, Rev. Buck Treadway of Beaumont, TX, Sue Telano and her husband, Sonny Telano of West Monroe, LA and Gayla Foster and her husband, Tom Foster of Dallas, TX; granddaughters, Beth Treadway Klem, of Houston, TX, Kathie Treadway of Richmond, VA, Dana Marlin of Dallas, TX and Kari Marlin of Dallas, TX; grandsons, Leslie Treadway, Phillip Treadway, Carl Telano and Hayden Foster; 14 great grandchildren and brother, Bobby Hayden. R.C. was a member of The Pentecostals of the Twin Cities for over 50 years. R.C. finished Barber College and then began his over 70 year career as a barber prior to being drafted into the U.S. Army. After serving his country in WWII, he continued his career and opened Hayden Barber Shop in 1961. R.C. was loved by everyone he knew and was a faithful member of his church. He will be remembered as a loving, husband, father and grandfather. Pallbearers will be Carl Telano, Les Treadway, Ty Marlin, Hayden Foster, Bobby Lynn Hayden and Wayne Whittman. Honorary pallbearers will be Pete Sims, Woody Clark and Sonny Telano. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at The Pentecostals of the Twin Cities.
