Funeral services for Sergeant Randall Sims, 48, of West Monroe, will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Pleasant Hill Congregational ChurchWest Monroe with Rev. Ray Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery-West Monroe, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Randall was born June 10th, 1958, in Clarksville, TN and died June 17th, 2006, in Monroe, LA following a brief illness. He was employed with the state of Louisiana at Swanson Correctional Center for Youth. Randall was a true outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish. He was preceded in death by his father Percy Sims. Survivors include his wife, Penny Sims; three daughters, Deanna Arnold and husband, Don, Candice Sims Greenlee and husband Jason and Jordan Lillie Sims; two sons, Randall Lee Sims and Anthony Sims; four grandchildren, Brianna, Kolby, Jacob Cooper Arnold and Paige Greenlee; mother, Betty Sims; sister, Renee Dewey and husband Curtis; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe and 10:00 AM service time Tuesday at the Church.
