Memorial service for Randall Smith, 65,  of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 31, 2023 at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, West Monroe with Rob Harkness and Tom Lowe officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Entombment will follow at Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens Open-Air Chapel Mausoleum,  under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Randall  Smith was born March 12, 1958 in Alexandria, Louisiana and passed away July 25, 2023 in West Monroe, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Ray Smith. Randy devoted his life to the service of others through his career as a nurse. His greatest love was for his family, especially his wife and children, and he selflessly placed their needs over his own. He loved to cook, work in his yard, and take on do-it-yourself projects around his home. Randy loved to hunt and fish, and he spent a lot of time at the hunting camp with family members and friends. He was a devoted member of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, where he served on the vestry and as the church’s Junior Warden.

Randall is survived by his wife Carol Smith; mother Norene Richey Smith; daughter Kaitlin Smith and son Tray Smith; sisters Dawn Smith Sager (Harlan) and Kim McCarver (Connie); numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Miles Sager, Christian Sager, Joseph McCarver, Woody Ledbetter, Bubby Brister, Bill Harvey, Scott Anderson and Scott Ryland.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church or the charity of your choice.
