Funeral services for Mrs. Ramona Geter, 53, will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 20, 2010, in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe. Rev. Larry Burton will officiate. Interment will follow at Hasley Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Geter was born on June 19, 1957 in Booneville, MS and passed away on October 15, 2010 in Monroe, LA. Mona managed the Tonga Island for several years, was a real estate agent, life insurance agent, and a notary public. Mona was preceded in death by her father Henry Ford, her brother Henry Wayne Ford, and her step-brother Keith Credille. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Kenneth Roy Geter; her children, Mathew and Angela Geter; her other children, Dr. David Geter, Cheryl Geter, and Stephanie Geter; her loving mother, Francis Dodds and husband Raymond; her sisters, Marilyn Burton and husband Larry, Yvonne Plaxco and husband Michael, Vicki Temples and husband Brian; her brother, Jim Tom Ford and her brother Henry≠s wife, Lynn Ford and children, Tina and Thomas; step-mother Shirley Ivy; step-sister Zane Bennett; step-brother Jerry Credille, and many other family members as well a host of great friends. Pallbearers are Larry Ecklund, Kim Crowe, Kenny Dickens, Lance LaButte, Jerry Geter, and Chuck Gaston. Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 19th at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
