Graveside services for Rachel Elvira Dunn Cruse, 90, of Sterlington will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, September 1, 2023 at Crossroads Cemetery. Deacon John C. Franklin will officiate under the direction and care of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

Rachel was born May 10, 1933 in Clarks, LA and passed away August 27, 2023 in Bastrop, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents Gertrude Bratton Dunn and Walter Holmes Dunn; husband Carroll Duane Cruse; sisters Chlotield Phillips, Myrtis Batson, Ethel Dodson; great-granddaughter Ellie Stuart.

Rachel is survived by 3 children Mike Cruse (Anna), Sharon Franklin (John Calvin) and Diana Claunch (Ricky); 8 grandchildren Emily Franklin Stevens (Marc), Ashley Franklin Harris (Mark), Caleb Franklin (Kimberly), Kelly Claunch Benson (Gene), Christopher Claunch, Brandon Cruse, Taylor Cruse and Austin Cruse; 7 great-grandchildren Ryder Stevens, Marley Bryant, Kash Spence, Barrett Franklin, Blakely Franklin, Rielle Benson and Kayden Claunch; 1 great-great granddaughter Everleigh Kay Sides; sister Kay Dunn Ellerbe.
