Funeral services for Mr. Phillip Wayne Baker 68, of Marion, La., will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at the First Baptist Church in Marion, La. Officiating the service will be Rev. Bubba Hoggatt. Visitation will be held preceding the service beginning at 12:30 p.m. until time of service under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Phillip was born on February 2, 1952 in Marion, La. and passed away on May 25, 2020 in Farmerville, LA.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marion, LA and  was retired from CenturyTel.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Etta Baker.

Survived by his wife of 46 years, Etta Jane Arrant Baker of Marion, LA; children, Christopher Phillip Baker (Cesta James) of West Monroe, LA; and Jason Arrant Baker (Kelly Lewis) of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Elliana, Bryce and Tristan Baker; brother, Jerry Leonard Baker (Johnnie); and his nieces Chelsey Baker Cook and Abbey Baker.

Memorials may be sent to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
