Lisa, Judy and I wanted to let you know that you and the family are in our prayers. When we heard that Philip was sick again, we began praying for both of you. May God bless you and strengthen you in the days to come and watch over you.

Camping, boating, skiing, yard football, fighting, chapel choir, summer boredom, family trips to California and Rogers to visit cousins--lots of good childhood memories!

Phil and I were clerks in the Marines. He greatly influenced my life. I will miss his charming emails, especially those that lovingly refer to me as a damn yankee. May God Bless all who grieve.Richard HradChicago

Philip, This news of your passing is hard to take. Can't imagine your irrepressible self is gone from us! I loved competing with you for two years as the worst bassist in the choir and always gained new insight from your out of the sun inquiries at our Thursday morning bible study. How we laughed over your stories as a HMX-1 Marine and Boy Scout! I am really sorry we never got that troop organized at the church. The kids and families will never know what they missed with you as scoutmaster. But I'm sure you've already got those tents in heaven aligned in formation! Semper Fi, brother!
Sally Phillips left a message on July 17, 2016:
