Iris Treadway left a message on October 9, 2023:
He was my grandfather, my favorite person in the whole world. No matter what he will stay in my heart. I remember the days he gave us gifts for Christmas, he would always get us calendars every year. I also remember the tear that went down my dad's face. Now we mainly just celebrate my grandfather, we still cry, but you know, just know that he is in a better place.

So sad to hear of Pete's passing. We were first cousins. But had not seen him since my dad (his Uncle) passed away in 1976. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Dewania Hefley Risher and Family
BRIAN RODGERS left a message on January 4, 2021:
Pete was a great neighbor and surrogate father to my kids while we lived next to Granny. His children and mine are lifelong brothers and sisters because of our being neighbors. Pete loved every kid he ever came in contact with because he himself was a kid at heart. I will miss ya big guy !!!!! prayers to his family one and all.
