Peter David Treadway went home on the morning of January 1, 2021 after lengthy health issues at the age of 58 in West Monroe, LA. The youngest child of the late Archie and Faye Treadway, Pete began his life on May 28, 1962 in LaRochelle, France, where his father was stationed with the U.S. Army.
Pete’s love for cars and mechanics led to a lifelong career with Cooper Buick GMC. During that time, he met the love of his life, Belinda, sharing the last 19 years together. After retirement, he spent his days building model trains, wood working, and vacationing to Hot Springs with his wife and fur baby. Pete’s love for his kids and grandbabies was endless. He would show them off at any given opportunity.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Belinda and fur baby, Rascal; son, Chuck McVay and wife Jenny; 3 daughters: Telina Worley and husband, Doug; Sarah Collins and husband, Josh; Hannah Hogan and husband Doug; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, and his forever son-in-law Michael John.
Memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2021 from 4:30 PM until 6:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
