Run Date: Monday, September 24, 2007 Photo: Yes Mr. Perry Lyn McGlothin Funeral services for Mr. Perry Lyn McGlothin, 39, of Hopewell, Virginia, will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2007, at 10:00AM in the Chapel of the Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Brother Terry Ware officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Hill Cemetery at Taylor in Union Parish, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe. Born November 24, 1967, in Bastrop, La., he passed away on Saturday September 22, 2007 in Hopewell, Virginia . Mr. McGlothin was a graduate of Marion High School, he had sixteen years of dedicated service to the U.S. Marine Corp. where he served in the Gulf War Desert Storm, he was known by all of his marine buddies and friends as ¨Gator. Survivors include his parents; Ben and Sandy McGlothin of Monroe, sisters, Susan Harrell of West Monroe, Latisha Menier and husband Joseph of West Monroe, Jennifer McGlothin of Monroe, nieces, Farrah McBroom and husband Donald of Fort Polk, Ashley Turner, Aaron Turner, April Turner, Stephanie Harrell all of west Monore, nephew, Derrick Menier of West Monroe, great nephews; Zachary and Ryan McBroom of Fort Polk, god children; Jack and Sadie Burrow of Hopewell, Virginia, special friends, Cheryl Daniels, Jeff and Todd all of Hopewell, Virginia, Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends from Virginia. Pallbearers are Joseph Menier, Manuel Navarro, Aaron Turner, Scott Turner, Steve Savage, Tim McGlothin, Casey McGlothin, Butch McGlothin. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe.
