Peggy Wade Leachman Funeral service for Peggy Wade Leachman, age 73, of Ruston will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Rev. Chris Craig and Rev. Andy Johnson. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Mrs. Leachman was born April 30, 1937 and passed away March 14, 2011.She is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Earline Wade. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and was an auxiliary volunteer for Northern Louisiana Medical Center. She was a homemaker who loved to sew. She had a great passion for reading and was very devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchild. She is survived by her husband L.D. Leachman of Ruston; daughter: Peg Dawsey and husband Bill of Ruston; grandsons: Cory Dawsey and wife Jennie, and Kelly Dawsey; great granddaughter: Eden Dawsey; and brother: Pete Wade and wife Kathy of Farmerville. Pallbearers will be Cory Dawsey, Ted Smith, Andrew Shealy, Jay Hilton, Mikey Leachman, Rodney Banks, Jerry Norris, Bill Dawsey, Prentiss Wade and Brandon Wade. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kelly Dawsey, Scotty Leachman, Skipper Leachman, Van Leachman, Kerry Banks, Cain Banks, Mark Kelley, Tommy Stivers, Dusty Leachman and Robbie Leachman. Visitation will be held Wednesday March 16, 2011 from 9:00 AM to service time at 10:30 AM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
