Peggy Sue was born on June 20, 1945, to William Edward and Myrtle (McDonald) Bailey, in Baton Rouge, LA. She passed from this life on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. She was a long-time member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church of Choudrant. Peggy Sue spent a large portion of her life as an executive secretary for the State of Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ed & Myrtle Bailey; her husband, James Willis; and her son, Ricky Price.
Peggy Sue is survived by her son, Dwayne Price and his wife Shannon of Grand Isle, LA; seven grandchildren, James Long, Tylor Miller, Lyndsey Pouncey, Landon Burleigh, Brittany Price, Corey Price, Michael Ingerson; 9 great grandchildren; and her sisters, Dorlis Ritchie of Baton Rouge, LA, and Cheryl Waquespack of Ruston, LA.
Memorials may be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1366 Pleasant Grove Road, Choudrant, LA, 71227, in Peggy Sue’s honor.
