Funeral services for Pearl B. Thompson, 89 of West Monroe will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 4, 2011 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Jon Tellifero will be officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery Monroe under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Mrs. Thompson was born April 26, 1921 in Geronimo, Oklahoma and passed away March 1, 2011 in West Monroe. She was a member of First United Methodist Church West Monroe. Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James C. Thompson; son, Howard Thompson; daughter-in-law, Dr. Carolyn Lindsay; granddaughter, Ann Lindsay Avery. Mrs. Thompson is survived by sons; Jerry Lindsay, Steve Lindsay and wife Carolyn and Stan Thompson and wife Chris; daughters, Earleen Thompson and Georgia T. Miller; daughter-in-law, Karen Thompson; and a sister, Obie Franks; 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Tim and Mike Thompson, Chris, Craig and Lee Lindsay, grand son-in-law, Denton Marx. Honorary pallbearers will be granddaughters, Lori Marx, Tracy Miller and Sharon Cain. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
