Dear Aunt Eloise, Scotty and Todd It is with sorrow that I hear of Uncle Paul's passing. My heart's prayer for all of you is that God's blessings will be showered upon you, and that God's word will provide much comfort to you. May the sting of his passing be swift, and the memories of his life be the joy of your hearts. With Love, Elizabeth Renee' Jackson
Tammie Oliveaux left a message on June 26, 2006:
I would like to send my heart felt sympathy to the family of Mr. Paul Jackson. It has been an honor to work with Mr. Paul. His memory will live on for years and years to come. I thank God for the short time I knew him. Probably around 9 - 10 years. He was one of lives little hidden treasures. They don't come along very often and always seem to go too soon. He was a kind hearted person that loved to make me laugh. He used to call me all of the time to look up information on the computer for him. I considered this task to be privilege. He always thought I was doing him such a favor. He had to make sure that I knew that he appreciated this. I don't think he ever even realized that it was me that was receiving the favor. He would always start my day off with a laugh. Mr. Paul always had a way about him that made people around him feel important. His love and devotion to his family will be felt for generations to come. This man was and always will be thought of with the highest regard. I hope this brings you peace in your time of sorrow. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. It seems like only yesterday that Daddy and Mr. Jackson were playing music and singing. I can still hear them in my mind. There weren't many better than them, Daddy, Mr. Jackson, Woodrow Greer, Ed Middleton, Howdy Edwards. My wish is that the Lord will ease the pain in your hearts. God Bless you. Sorry to hear about the loss of Paul. I remember playing music with him on Hoss Logan's Northeast Louisiana Hayride back in the early 1970's. He was a great musician and person. God bless you all. Rich Bailey
