On March 4, 2019, Patricia Rene Null Squyres, loving wife and mother, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 66. Patricia was born April 4, 1952 in Ruston, LA. She married her husband of 47 years, Sam Squyres, on January 14, 1972. They raised two children – Annie and Richard. Patricia was known for her sense of humor and kind spirit. Her life work was teaching children about Jesus. Miss Patricia loved every child entrusted to her care over the years. Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Sam Richard Squyres, Jr.; her parents, Henry Tootie Null and Lola Crawley Null; her in-laws, Earl and Irene Squyres; and brother-in-law, Gary Squyres. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Sam Richard Squyres, Sr. of Simsboro; daughter Anne Marie Squyres Jones and husband Jimbo of Gibsland; and two beautiful granddaughters, Madison and Scarlett Jones who loved their Tishy very much. Patricia is also survived by sisters Debbie Null Masterman of Florence, MS, and Mary Null Elliott, of Rogers, AR; brothers, Andy Null and wife Mary Jo, and Charlie Null of Ruston; sister-in-laws, Susan Squyres Rasbury and husband Muray, and Rickie Squyres Walker and husband Royce of Ruston; brother-in-law Keith Squyres and wife Dale of Warren, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service, officiated by Brother Jason Cole, was held at 10:00 a.m. on March 6, 2019, at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Simsboro under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
