Funeral services for Patricia Marie Beard Carter, age 82, of Ruston will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Officiating the service will be Bro. Regan Colvin. Interment will follow at Cook Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston. Mrs. Carter was born July 22, 1930 and passed away April 10, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Carter. Mrs. Carter is survived by her sons: Robert Scott Carter, and Kenneth Thomas Carter and wife Trish; daughters: Kayla Ann Carter Hebert and husband Jose` and Cynthia “Cindy” Sue Carter Patrick and husband Rodney; sister: Wanda McCormack; grandchildren: Matt Carter, Angie and Shawn Vigneri, Melissa and Anthony Holmes, Tommy and Jessica Carter, Leaghann Rettie, Shasta and Mark Daniels, Heather and Clint Brooks, Amanda and Andy Singleton, Carrie and Matt White, Kyle Hebert, Haley Hebert, Colby Rushing and Abbie Hammons; and 12 great grandchildren. Mrs. Carter's family was her Pride, Joy, and Heart. The family wishes to thank Mrs. Carters “Special Angel” Allison Easterling for her loving care. Pallbearers will be Kyle Hebert, Colby Rushing, Tommy Carter, Matt Carter, Anthony Holmes, Jose Hebert, Rodney Patrick, Mark Daniels, Clint Brooks, Andy Singleton and Matt White. Honorary Pallbearers will be Thomas Singleton, Hunter Singleton, Tyler Holmes, Dalton Brooks, William Rettie, Evan Rettie, Nathan Vigner, Carter Vigner, Grace Daniels, Natalie Brooks, Lindsey Vigner and Kacie Rae Carter.
