Billy and Family, Our deepest sympathy to you in the loss of your precious Pat. It was so much fun to be with you two at the many car shows we attended. I don't think there are Thunderbirds in heaven but I know our loved ones and the Lord has certainly welcomed Pat home!

Never did I go to my Aunt Pat's house that I did not hear something about Ms Pat. When we were growing up I played with her children. Then as a grown woman I had the pleasure of working with Aunt Pat and Ms. Pat at Pennys....the both of them a hoot for sure...I am sure when Ms. Pat got to heaven you could hear Aunt Pat for miles saying come on in Pat I have missed you my friend and just grinning from ear to ear...To Mr. Billy and the boys don't worry you know she is fine now Patsy will take care of her.

Billy, We are sorry for your loss. We have an idea how close you and Pat were because my brother has told many stories of your times together, enjoying the many car shows in recent years. Lisa and I are so glad we had a chance to meet you and Pat and spend some time with you at the 2009 Vidalia show. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you come together to celebrate Pat’s life.

I dont really remember Mrs Pat, but I know that my Aunt Pat Barnes thought the world of her. I was the youngest and my older sisters remember her. I know without a doubt that Aunt Pat was there to help her on her journey to our heavenly home. To the ones left behind, I have you in my prayers and want you all to know that you will see her again one day.
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Ms. Pat was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever known! She had such a great sense of humor. Pokeno will not be the same without her. I am truly blessed to have known her. My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time. May God Bless You All!

Pat had a beautiful laugh! So many occasions did I have to hear her laughter along with Patsy Barnes, my cousin. I think of how much they had in common. The children were all small when I first met Pat Matlock. Pat was all about family and friends and she was wonderful at doing both. She and Patsy will make heaven a sweeter place. I am so sorry for your loss. May God bless and keep you and I know Pat will be waiting for you in Heaven.

So sorry to hear about Pat. I talked to her after she found out she was sick. She said she had had a wonderful life, great children and husband. How many of us can say that. She will always be in your heart. She was a true friend and Pekeno player. We will remember you, Pat, every time we play.
