Pamela Mizell Oehlerich Bunn was born on August 7, 1956, to Billy Joe and JoAnn Williams Mizell in

El Dorado, Arkansas. She went to heaven on May 4, 2024, in Ruston, LA.  She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Keith Bunn, all of Crossett, Arkansas; stepdaughter, Chrissy Hester, and step-grandson, Aubyrn Hester, of Lake Village, Arkansas.  She is survived by her two sons, Christopher Aaron Oehlerich and Bradley Alan Oehlerich, her granddaughter, Lillian Mae Oehlerich, all of Covington, Georgia: her sister, Diana Mizell Grigsby, her niece, Sarah Grigsby Kilpatrick, and husband, Ryan Kilpatrick, and her great-nephews Reeves, Rhodes, and Turner Kilpatrick, all of Ruston. She is also survived by her nephew, Geurin Mizell Grigsby, and wife Natasha, of Austin, Texas.

Pam grew up in Crossett, Arkansas. She graduated from Crossett High School in 1974, and attended Henderson College in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Pam grew up in First Baptist Church in Crossett, and remained active as an adult, raising her boys there, and teaching children’s choir.   Pam was involved in the Crossett community as a member of the Junior Auxiliary and other organizations.  She worked in the Chemical Division of Georgia-Pacific Corporation for several years, until opening a wonderful gift shop in Crossett, called Keepsakes.  When her husband was transferred to Atlanta with Georgia Pacific, she reinvented herself again, and redecorated houses for a while until she got her realtor’s license.   Pam had a very successful career as a realtor, receiving many accolades and achievement awards, such as Rookie of the Year, with the Remax Realty Organization. After moving to Ruston in 2015, Pam continued her success as a realtor with Acres and Avenues organization.

Pam was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Ruston, and involved as a Mission Friends teacher, as well as the Social Chairman of the Eclectic Class. She was a believer in Jesus Christ and found opportunities to share her faith wherever she was.  Pam had a great sense of humor and could keep her family and friends all laughing, no matter what else was going on! She will be terribly missed!

The family would like to thank Dr. Ben Grigsby for his tireless and impeccable medical care, over the long haul.  They would also like to thank Dr. Billy Alexander and the other doctors at Ruston Regional

Rehabilitation Hospital, as well as the nurses, respiratory therapists, other therapists and care workers, who all went above and beyond in their care of Pam.

A memorial service will be held at Temple Baptist Church Chapel on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 11:00, with visitation at 10:00. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Temple Baptist Church mission programs, or to the organization of your choice.
