Kilpatrick Funeral Home Farmerville, LA. Mrs. Pamela Akin Young Funeral services for Pamela Akin Young, 44 of Marion, LA, will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Crestview Baptist Church in Farmerville. Officiating the service will be Rev. Wayne Whiteside and Rev. Bubba Hoggatt. Burial will follow in Liberty Hill Taylor Cemetery under direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville. Pamela was born on October 21, 1966 in Ruston, LA, and passed away on May 2, 2011 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and worked as a Social Worker in Baton Rouge for many years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lee Young, Jr. She is survived by two sons, Howard Lee Trey Young III of Marion, LA; B.J. Young of Marion, LA; parents, Terry and Donna Akin of Mountainview, AR; sister, Sharon Harris and husband Mike of El Dorado, AR; mother-in-law, Patsy Collins of Natchez, MS; sisters-in-law, Christy Vasquez of Carthidge, MS; Lynn Collins of New York, NY; D. McDonald of Houston, TX; numerous other family and friends. Pallbearers will be Men of Crestview Baptist Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
