Pamela Dianne Dumas Bacon, West Monroe, La., born June 24, 1965, passed away into the beloved arms of her Savior July 8, 2021. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Max Bacon; children Morgan Bacon Kinzer and her husband Kirk, Matthew Bacon and Mitchell Bacon; father-in-law, Kelton Bacon; brother-in-law, Danny Bacon and wife Toni; brother, Terry Dumas and wife Anne; sister, Becky Marshall and husband Lamar. Also left to cherish her memory is her niece, Leslie Bauman and husband Cody; nephew, Daniel Dumas and wife Maddie; niece, Kate Concelli and husband Matt; nieces, Conner Bacon and Caroline Marshall; many aunts, uncles, other relatives, and her best friend and cousin, Amy Cathey.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Nevesa Dumas; sister, Tanya Dumas; paternal grandparents, Jesse Aubrey Dumas and wife Nancy, Mary Cowan Dumas; maternal grandparents, Henry Alvin and Mittie Ann Downs and mother-in-law Martha Bacon.
Pam graduated Northeast Louisiana University and went on to graduate with a Registered Nursing degree from Louisiana Tech University. She worked as a school nurse in the Ouachita Parish School System, as well as some area hospitals.
Visitation, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, will be Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Fair Park Baptist Church. The funeral will be Monday, July 12, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Fair Park Baptist Church. Rev. Waymond Warren will officiate. Interment to follow at Roselawn Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Lamar Marshall, Kirk Kinzer, Danny Bacon, Matt Concelli, Daniel Dumas, Cody Bauman, and Eric Holton.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for memorials to be made to the Fair Park Baptist Church Building Fund in Pam’s memory.
