Palmer “Pat” Wilson Byrnside, 64, beloved son, brother, and uncle was born on June 12, 1959 and joined our Heavenly Father on January 9, 2024.

Pat was preceded in death by his father, Crawford Byrnside and his brother, Crawford Fred Byrnside.

Left to love his memory and carry on are his 93-year-old mother, Dorothy Wilson Byrnside; sister, Jean Byrnside Maza (Jerry) of Choudrant, Louisiana; sister-in-law, Patricia Owens Byrnside; nephews, Shannon Spillers, Josh Hood (Lori), Jimmy Byrnside (Dee Dee), and niece, Kristi Smith (Billie); aunts, Agnes Wilson and Lillian Ginn; numerous great nieces and great nephews; one great-great niece and one great-great nephew.

Pat was a life-long resident of Farmerville, Louisiana. The main things he loved were the Lord and his family. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his friends and others. He loved being a mechanic and tinkering on vehicles. He was an avid reader and animal lover.

The Bible says sons are a special gift. Pat was just that, a very loved and special gift.

A memorial service for family and friends is planned for Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Sardis Baptist Church in Farmerville, Louisiana with Pastor John Rushing officiating.
