Dear Mike, It's been a long time since high school, but I wanted you to know that I was so sorry to hear of the death of your dad. I lost my father in September and it's been so difficult to move past his loss. I wish God's peace and comfort for you and your entire family. Love, Karen

I have read the tributes to Pal's memory and I am touched by all the kind things that have been written. I too, got to know Pal. I want to thank him for loving my friend Kathy Jackson from here in KY. He drove all the way up here to get her because she was physically ill and he had enough love for her to drive all the way to Lexington to get her so he could take care of her. I have grown very fond of him in the last 8 yrs. he was a fantastic person to converse with. However, I have found it very sad that the people he trusted have treated her with such disregard. Sorry, Pal. I know this is not what you expected of the powers that be that you left behind. My heart goes out to Ronnie and the friends and family who truley loved him without expecting monetary gain. May peace be with Pal and God please be with all those who will truely miss the person he was and not for want was to be gained upon his passing. Sincerely, Deb

Pal, I will miss you so much. You were like a father to me. You listened to me and explained things to me about anything. You had such a kind heart and i loved receiving hugs from you because i felt protected. You took care of our family when we were left alone. I used to hate the smell of cigarette smoke but now it makes me think of you, haha. I took one of your blue jean shirts that have holes in the elbows, its hanging in my closet and your camo hat. Just a memory i guess. I wish i could have taken care of you when you were sick. I wish that you could have seen owen. I was happy to see you got our christmas card, so you did get to see owen before you died. I hope your enjoying yourself with Jesus. I love you so much. Steph

I have no memories of you, ive never met you, but you made me and for that im thankful. Ive never met you before, but yet i cried when i heard you died. Im not sure why, but i did. You were my father, even if you wished i wasnt your daughter. I honestly wish i wouldve met you..but i guess i couldnt. I cant talk to you personally, so i guess thats why im writing this...for the closure im never gonna have. Thanks for blessing me with life, and im sorry you never met me, im definetly an amazing individual. As for the family that did know him, my prayers are with you, its not a good feeling to lose someone you love. Thanks. Sincerly. Christina.

Ronnie, I am so saddened by the news of Pal's death. He was always such a special person to me -- as was your entire family. I have so many wonderful memories of your family -- fishing trips, your mother saving hot water corn bread on the back of the stove for me because she knew it was my favorite, your daddy's jokes, you trying to explain weather patterns to me when I couldn't understand them, and, of course, Pal. You all made me feel very special, and I loved every minute of it. Please know that I share your loss and that you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Carol Ann

With Pal's passing, I truly feel as though I have lost one of my brothers. So many of my memories as I was growing up include my adventures with Pal, especially when I tried to keep up with him at fishing. I will always treasure having had Pal as a part of my family and my life. I will miss you, Pal.

Dear Dean family. so sorry for your loss. I met Pal when he came to Rehab. He was a very nice person. I'm glad I got to know him, if only in a small way. May God be near you at this time.
