Services for Mr. Oscar Cloyd "O.C." Lenard, age 63, of Downsville, La. will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2006 at 3:00 PM at Liberty Baptist Church in Calhoun, La. Rev. Tony Smith, Rev. Jeff Coleman, and Rev. Harold Spillers will be officiating with interment to follow at Downsville Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, La. Mr. Lenard was born on November 16, 1942 in Ouachita Parish and went to be with his Lord on September 16, 2006 at his residence in Downsville, La. Mr. Lenard was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Calhoun. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who also loved all sports as well as gardening. No love was greater than that for his grandchildren and his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 43 years: Barbara Lenard; 4 children: Dewayne Lenard and wife, Tessa of Downsville; David Lenard and wife, Amanda of Quitman; Tonya Ezell and husband, Paul of Downsville; Teresa Coleman and husband, Jeff of Central Asia; Grandchildren: Mitchell, Melissa, April, Hannah, Tori, Zach, Kaitlyn, Tailor, Seth, Jesse, and Leslie; Siblings: Bob Allen Lenard, Charlotte Hearne, Jimmy Lenard, Priscilla Nugent, Floyd Lenard, numerous nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Pallbearers will be: Ronnie Culp, Bobby Patton, Mike McKenzie, Hardy Sullivan, Bill Ezell and Matt Smith. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, La. and Thursday from 2PM until service time at Liberty Baptist Church in Calhoun, La.
