¨As we were in Life, so shall we be in deathÉ\u0096together Funeral services for Mrs. Olivee Poole Christy, 74, a lifelong resident of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, October 22, 2007 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. with the Rev. George Bonner officiating. Interment to follow at Twin Cities Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mrs. Christy was born March 14, 1933 in Strong, AR and passed away October 19, 2007. She was a head cashier at A & P for 31 years and worked the last 12 years in the cash office at Wal-Mart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston E. Christy; parents, Harry and Rachel Poole; sisters, Mona Folds, Virginia Kline, Winnie Davis and Teresa Enterkin. Mrs. Christy is survived her son, Randy Christy and wife Ilene; daughter, Cindy Farrar and husband David; sister, Sandra Cassell; three grandsons, Kevin Christy and wife Nikki, Kyle Christy, Brandon Tidwell and fianc© Monique Mims; one granddaughter, Brandy Tidwell and fianc© Daniel Thomas; one step-grandson, David Allen Farrar and wife Crystal; one step-granddaughter, Sonya Farrar and fianc© Michael Thomas and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be James Daniel, John Waters, Bobby Daily, Johnny Fannin, Robert Poche and Mike Davis.
