Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Monday, April 9, 2012 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of West Monroe with Rev. Ruby Dulaney officiating. Interment will follow at Luna Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00PM until 7:00PM Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.

This very special lady prayed for me and numerous others all her life. She asked me to pray for her on the last coherent visit we had. I prayed for her homecoming with her Mom and Dad, her daughter, grandchildren and many others she loved. Mama Ree loved the song "I'll Fly Away" and now she has done that very thing. Her hope was to see us all there one day and I hope to be there. I love you and will miss you. She was the one person that understood the joys of living with an Evans. You know!
