Nikki was born on April 25, 1953, in Arcadia, Louisiana and went home to her Heavenly Father on June 9, 2022. She passed away peacefully at her home in West Monroe, LA surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife to Steve for 50 years and an amazing mother to Lori and Luke. Nikki was also the most wonderful Nana to her five grandchildren; her babies adored her. She and Steve would attend baseball games, soccer matches, dance recitals, golf matches, horseback riding, cheerleading or any other event that her grandchildren took part in. Holidays with the family were something that she held dear to her heart – especially Easter and Christmas. Aside from spending time with her family, she loved being outside in her backyard tending to her beautiful flowers and watching her birds. The hummingbirds were her absolute favorite. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles E. Allison, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Bernice Smelley; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Emory Allison
