Nellie was born on May 15, 1930 in Sikes, Louisiana and passed away on September 6, 2020 in West Monroe, Louisiana. She loved God, her family, and gospel hymns. She enjoyed growing flowers and admiring them everywhere she went. Nellie is preceded in death by her husband, Adrian H. Berry, Sr.; son, Adrian H. Berry, Jr.; parents, William Vincent and Pennie Simmons; siblings, Oleta, Grady, Myrtle, Ray, Avis, Edgar, Nora, William Sharon, and Norine; son-in-law, Marvin L. Cantrell.
Nellie is survived by her children, Donald J. Berry and wife Tammy and Wanda Berry Cantrell; grandchildren, Penny Hirata, Sara Comerose, Shannon Teagarden, Adrian H. Berry, III (Trey), Monica Stover; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Shelby Simmons and many other cherished family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Trey Berry, Bob Butler, Jesse Butler, Phil Parker, Glen Simmons and Gary Teagarden.
