Saturday, April 14, 2007 at Memorial United Methodist Church, Simsboro, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Ross Genger. Interment will follow at Simsboro Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Ruston, LA. Mrs. Gay was born May 5, 1924 in Simsboro, LA and passed away April 12, 2007 in Ruston, LA. Nellie was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church in Simsboro, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband Bonnie Bret Gay. Mrs. Gay is survived by her daughters: Dianne Brown and husband Smitty of Shreveport, LaJeanne Rushing and husband Eddie of Ruston, LA; grandchildren: Karen B. Carlyle, Joe Carlyle, Caleb Carlyle and Claire Carlyle all of Bossier City, Heather Rushing of Ruston, Zachary Page of Mississippi; sister; Minnie Molan of Pineville, LA; sister-in-law: Pauline Gray of Ruston, and many nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Riley Rushing, Larry Atkins, Steve Yeich, Brian Yeich, Josh Patton and James Terrell. Honorary Pallbearer will be Jimmie Hyatt.
