My sincere condolences to the Himdmon family and friends for your loss. No doubt Ms. Hindmon lived a long fulfilled life and her family will miss her dearly. Hopefully you can draw comfort from Gods word, as I have, where he promises us that there is going to be a resurrection and that we can be reunited with our loved ones once again - right here on the earth. (John 5:28,29; Psalms 37:9,10) If you’d like to have more comforting thoughts from Gods word, and his plan for our future, please visit the Bible based website - jw.org.

I admired Nell and Barbara so much as an underclassman at Neville. My mother enjoyed Nell's friendship as they both taught at Lee Jr. High. So many fond memories. My prayers to Barbara and Nell's children.

Nell was a dear friend for many years and I loved her dearly. She and I had many happy times together, sometimes just sitting around reading. Whatever we did, it was fun just being together. Julius and I loved doing things as couples with Nell and Skinner. We will miss her very much!

Condolences and the peace of Christ to the family and friends of this sweet, kind lady and dedicated educator. I was a student in her 7th grade “core” (social studies)” class at Lee Jr. High. Her poise and professionalism when she announced President Kennedy’s assassination made a big impression on our class. She will be fondly remembered by many.

Visiting your Mom was a blessing to me. when she saw me each visit her face would light up. The last visit was delivering the Xmas flower and she couldn't wake up but she said Hi. The week before she tried to talke for the first time in several weeks. I am sick but hope to make the funeral. Knowing her as she was earlier years when we did many things together with our church group blessed my life and visiting her enriched my life. God bless all of us who loved her.

Dear Shannon and Todd and Family, I am so saddened to hear of your sweet mom's death. I so enjoyed our friendship (with she and Bob) when I taught briefly at Lee. We also had fun times in our Teacher sorority and at First Baptist events. Nell was so helpful to me as an inexperienced teacher of middle schoolers and advised me, gave me lesson plans. and laughed with me about crazy stuff at school. She and Bob were great friends to me and I treasure our friendship. She was a great wife and mom too. Look what great kids she raised in you and Todd! I am sure she is enjoying Heaven with Skinner and her mom and dad. And you have the promise that you will see her again! You are in my thoughts and prayers, Camille Adair

I was so sorry to hear of Nell’s passing. We were classmates at Neville, but I met the Rogers twins many years before, more than 70 years ago! God bless her, and all her loved ones.
