Funeral services for Nancy “Pat” Wright, 93, of West Monroe, Louisiana,  will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, Monroe, Louisiana Interment will follow at Mulhearn Memorial Park, Monroe, LA.  Visitation will be Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home-Monroe.

Nancy was born in Boston, Massachusetts on January 31, 1928, grew up in Maine, moved to Louisiana in 1954 where she resided until she passed away on February 7, 2021 in West Monroe, LA.  She preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Marie Coady; children, Tommy Wright, Banner Wright and Donna Wright; grandson, Bobby Starnes, Jr. and great-granddaughter Savannah Reese.

Nancy is survived by her son, Ray Wright; grandchildren, Annie Peterson, Danyelle DeCorte-Wood, TJ Wright, Kaycee Wright, Morgan Wright, BJ Wright, Genji Wright, Tina Sweeny And Hal Wright; Great-grandchildren, Victoria Peterson, Hanna Peterson, Payton Wright, Kanyon Wright, Jathan Wright and Brayden Wright;  Great, great-grandchildren; Elizabeth Berry, Audie Mayes Madelyn Grace, and Alex Wright. Also, numerous “adopted” grandchildren and was known as “Granny” to many.

Nancy was a true Christian lady.  Her door was always open to anyone in need of a meal, place to lay their head or an ear to listen.  She was an avid reader and could never have too many books.  She worked at Selig Manufacturing as a seamstress for years, then went to work for Evangeline Oaks Girls Home until her retirement.

Pallbearers will be; TJ Wright, BJ Wright, Morgan Wright, Shannon Wood, Pete Berry and David Mulhearn.
