Nancy Louise Owen Hanks, age 81 of Dubach, La. passed away Monday, July 27, 2020 after a brief illness. Funeral Service will be Thursday, July 30, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at New Prospect Baptist Church in Dubach.  Interment will follow at Colvin Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home-Ruston. Officiating will be Bro. Terry Ganey, Bro. Marvin Winham and Bro. Greg Tipton.  Visitation will be Thursday, July 30, 2020 at New Prospect Baptist Church from 10:00-11:00 A.M.

Nancy was retired from Lincoln General Hospital as the hospital laboratory secretary.  She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church, in the church choir and Greenwood Quilting Club.

Preceded in death are her parents, Henry David Owen and Vela Thompson Owen, husband William Harvey Hanks and son Kenneth Wayne Hanks.

Left to cherish her memories are her children; son, Mike Hanks (Cammie), daughter, Jackie Hanks Billberry (Phillip). Grandsons are Lance Billberry (Jessica), Hunter Hanks. Granddaughters are Brittney Billberry Taylor (Andre) and Abigail Hanks.  Great-Grandchildren are Avery Billberry, Bailey Billberry, Beckett Billberry and Evie Taylor, sister; Sally Barfield (Bart).

Pallbearers are Mike Hanks, Phillip Billberry, Hunter Hanks, Lance Billberry, Carl Boyd and Russell Barfield.

Memorials may be made to New Prospect Baptist Church in Dubach, La.
