Graveside services for Nancy Hearne will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 10, 2023 at Welcome Cemetery, 14200 US-371, Taylor, AR with Rev. Jimmy Walker and Dr. Stonewall Hunter, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 8, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 P.M.at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
Nancy was born September 13, 1949 and passed away April 6, 2023. She was a dedicated teacher for over 38 years. Known as the “Computer Lady”, she touched countless numbers of lives as she taught kindergarten through junior college students whom she treated like her own. Being artistic, she loved to draw and paint, a passion which she enjoyed sharing with her children and grandchildren. Nancy was a kind and loving soul. Everything she did in life was motivated by love; love for her family, her friends and her students.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie James and Sybil Walker Crippen and her father-in-law Verlon Douglas Hearne; sister Susan Richardson, brothers Jimmy Crippen and John Crippen.
Nancy was survived by her husband of 47 years, Mike Hearne; son, Jay Hearne and wife Summer, daughters, Janis Ann Hearne, Jamie Elizabeth Hearne Harrison and husband Bo; grandsons Parker Hearne, Cooper Hearne, Paxton Harrison and Payde David Harrison; granddaughter Brooke Hearne; mother-in-law Mary Timmons Hearne and brother-in-law, Billy Richardson; nieces Jessica Maxwell and husband Shannon and Ellie Crippen; nephews John Dillon Blackburn, Lane Blackburn, Dawson Blackburn and Will Crippen and wife Jennifer.
Serving as pallbearers will be Paxton Harrison, Payde David Harrison, John Dillon Blackburn, Dustin Brown, Parker Hearne, and Cooper Hearne.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Richard Holliday, Billy Richardson and Will Crippen.
