Steve Mintz left a message on November 9, 2010:
Dear Drew, Cathy, and entire related Fluck family, my condolences. Mrs. Fluck was always so nice to me when I lived next to her home at my parent's home growing up. I have made a memorial contribution in her name to the Forsythe Avenue Beautification for one of the Rosebud Trees on Forsythe Avenue in the boulevard between 6th and 9th Streets within the Monroe Garden District. If there is anything I can do, please just let me know. Sincerely yours, Steve Mintz

Dear Drew and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I only learned from my mother yesterday that your mother passed. My mother spoke very fondly of her as a friend and a "great Bridge player". God bless you and comfort you in your grief. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and please know you can call on me anytime for support. Godspeed, Scott

Beverly Coburn left a message on November 6, 2010:
Drew and Jackie - Your mom Nancy was my favorite mom friend. I always enjoyed visiting your house on Bayou Lane. I remember when she got her little green Vega. She was so cool to let you have the little motorcycle and keep that mouse you bought at Woolworths, Jackie. She bought you all those skate pompoms and I only got one pair. I remember her calling the house and saying, "Get out your bridge card" to my mother and they'd review every hand, bid, opponent's bid, etc. "Get out your card" was synonymous with your mom. She was always so good to me and my mother was always nicer to me when your mom was around. I loved your mom and will never forget her. Unsure if I'll be able to make the service since I have both my parents here w/ me and they cannot be left alone. I will be there in spirit at the least. Beverly
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
