Funeral services for Nancy Cathryn Fluck will be 10:00 AM Monday, November 8, 2010 at Highland Park Baptist Church in Monroe with Pastor Larry Linson officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, 1200 Lamy Lane in Monroe, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Ms. Fluck was born in Shreveport, LA on August 17, 1931 and passed away on November 4, 2010. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, affectionately known as 'Mimi' to everyone. She was a Bridge Life Master and enjoyed playing with many wonderful partners in many games and tournaments locally and around the country. Ms. Fluck enjoyed cooking, traveling to new places, and watching the many birds that came to her yard. Nancy was an active member of Highland Park Baptist Church and very much enjoyed the many activities and ministries of her church. Her black Schnauzer, Scrapper, was her constant companion. She is preceded in death by her parents, A.C. and Maudie Mae Dominick, and her beloved granddaughter, Katie Fluke. Survivors include her son, Drew Fluke and wife Cathy, and her daughter Jackie Jones and husband Justin, all of Monroe. She also is survived by three grandchildren, Brianne Adams and husband Tommy, Melissa Stamper and husband Lenny, and David Fluke; and great-grandchildren Delayne Stamper, and Hunter, Kelsey, Paige, and Piper Adams; one brother A.C. Dominick, Jr. and wife Mary Jane, of Mira, LA; niece Lisa Anderson and husband Chad, and nephews Jay Dominick and wife Wendy, and Doug Dominick and wife Kelli. She is also survived by numerous cousins and other relatives, along with her many friends. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of her Sunday School class at Highland Park Baptist Church. Memorials may be made to the 'Kids for Jesus' Program at Highland Park Baptist Church or the 'Katie Fluke Youth Activity Fund' at First United Methodist Church in Monroe.
