I know this is terribly tardy, but i have a fantastic huge folk painting by Ms. Lee, and was researching the artist when i found this. I do believe ny nother (i think) purchased it at the Ouachita Council on aging. It is signed ‘Arlease Lee 1982,’ and it brings me joy every day. My mother is in assisted living in Shreveport now, as my siblings and i are here or closer than to Monroe. Just wanted to say how proud i am to be able to adore this painting every day! God bless Ms. Lee. How lovely to see a picture of the artist. Thank you.

Arlease was a dear neighbor on Glenmar Street for several years... I have thought of her often in past years after developing "hearing loss".. God Bless ..
