Funeral services for Mr. Ricky L. Wyatt, Sr, 72, of Downsville, LA will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2021 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA. Officiating will be Rick Wyatt assisted by Rev. Louis Bartet. Interment will follow at Mt. Ararat Cemetery in Downsville, LA.

Ricky was born on April 7, 1949 in Bastrop, LA and passed away May 20, 2021 in Monroe, LA. Mr. Wyatt retired from many years of service with AT&T as a digital technician.  He is preceded in death by his parents, William Eugene and Effie Marie Wyatt, brother, Ralph Wyatt,  brother-in-law, Orville McCready and sister-in-law, Linda Wyatt.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Yvonne McLeod Wyatt of Downsville, LA; sons, Ricky Lynn Wyatt Jr. and wife, Charlene of Athens, LA; Daniel Joseph Wyatt of Downsville, LA; daughter, Amy Yvette Wyatt of Downsville, LA; granddaughters, Alexis Devonne Wyatt Meeks (Nathan) of Monroe, LA; Brianna Ariel Wyatt of Athens, LA; Callie Marie Millican of Downsville, LA.; grandsons, Gatlin Eugene Wyatt of West Monroe, LA, Carson Ellis “Eli” Millican and Noah Odell Wyatt of Downsville, LA; brothers, Cary Wyatt (Dixie) of Crossett, AR; Gary Wyatt of TN; sister, Tina McCready Wyatt of Bastrop, LA; sister-in-law, Virginia Wyatt of Collinston, LA; and an uncle Don Wyatt of Winnsboro, LA; numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.
