Graveside services for Mr. Cloyd Dewayne Browder will be at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens. Rev. Nathan Luellen will officiate.Mr. Browder was born August 15, 1927 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016 in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of the United States Navy and retired as a machinist at the Louisiana Army Ammunition Plant in Minden. Mr. Browder is known as the one and only Papaw. He loved to deer hunt and travel. Mr. Browder favorite places to go were the Smoky Mountains and the Rocky Mountains. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dennis and Johnnie Browder; brother-in-law, Johnny Hebert; daughter-in-law, Georgia Browder.Mr. Browder was survived by his wife, Kathryn Whittington Browder; two daughters, Rita Browder Savanna, Vicky Browder Takewell; son, Denny W. Browder; sister, Katherine Browder Hebert; grandchildren, Scott Savanna and girlfriend Cherri, Jennifer Savanna Shoemaker and husband Andrew, Courtney Brooke Browder and boyfriend Tullos Warren, Jessica Takewell Roberts and husband Richard, and Jared C. Takewell; great-grandchildren, Troy Savanna, Cameron Shoemaker, Caitlyn Roberts, Colbie and Ryland Taylor.
