Funeral Services for Molly “Jinks” Johnston, 92, of West Monroe will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, May 28, 2022 at the Pleasant Hill Congregation Church on Hwy. 34 in West Monroe, La. Molly was born on March 7, 1930 in West Monroe, La. and passed away on May 24, 2022 in Monroe, La. She loved riding horses, arts and craft and being the best homemaker she could be. Molly met the love of her life at the age of 14 and ended up marrying him. They had a long and love-filled marriage. She loved her family and her church and never lost her faith. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L.C. and Molly Joiner, her husband , Marshall R. Johnston, Jr. and a daughter, Sandra “Sandy” Kaye Johnston.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Nancy Bradstock and husband Thom, 2 granddaughters, Jessica Feinstein and husband Adam and Amanda Bradstock-Waitz and husband Brendan, 4 great-grandchildren and her sister, Creacy Joiner.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Joiner, Joey DeAngelo, Mo Guidry, Mike Beard, Bruce Arrant and Rick Hendricks, and one honorary pallbearer, Chris Arrant.
Memorials may be made in Molly’s name to the American Cancer Society.
