Funeral Services for Mitchell Brasher, 86 of Farmerville, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 8, 2006 at the First Baptist Church in Farmerville, LA. Officiating will be Rev. Roger Johnson. Interment will follow in Farmerville City Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA. He is a member of the First Baptist Church where he was a Deacon; he was very active in the men≠s Sunday School Class. He was a veteran of World War II. He was an avid baseball fan and gardener. He was preceded in death by his wife Nellie Ward Brasher. He is survived by his 2 brothers, Robert ¨Bob Brasher and his wife Doris of Ruston, LA; Jimmy Brasher and his wife Dorothy of West Monroe, LA; 2 sisters, Lou Nell Taylor of West Monroe, LA; Larene ¨Jo Simpson of Farmerville, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be sent to the LA. Baptist Children≠s Home and the First Baptist Church. Pallbearers will be: Rannie Russell, Eddie Joe Simpson, Bobby Brasher, Barry Brasher, John Kennedy, Eric Bryan, Matt Ludwig and Mitch Ludwig Honorary Pallbearers: Jason Russell, J.D. Frasier, Dr. Steven Venters, Darien Gardner, Kenneth Halley and Deacons of the First Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Monday, August 7, 2006, 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville, LA.
