Funeral services for Mickie Sue Flynn Brantley 54 of Marion, LA will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, July 29, 2013 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe. Rev. Paul Solice will officiate. Interment will be held at 1:00 pm at Providence Memorial Lake Providence, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe, LA. Mickie Sue was born July 23, 1959 in Lake Providence, LA and passed away July 25, 2013 in Monroe after a courageous battle with cancer. She is a 1977 graduate of Briarfield Academy in Lake Providence, LA. After graduating she was employed by East Carroll Lumber Yard until 1985 as a bookkeeper. Mickie Sue then moved to Monroe and was employed by Russell Moore Lumber Company as a bookkeeper until her death. She was preceded in death by her father, Gene Flynn in 1991. Survivors are her husband; Mark Brantley; mother, Mickie Flynn; Sisters; Vickie Flynn, Sherie Richardson and husband Richard and Elizabeth Heydel and husband Brian; step-son, Russ Brantley and wife Stephanie; step-granddaughter, Avery; aunt, Betty Sullivan; 2 nieces, Ashlee Napier and Mary Flynn; 6 nephews; David Ainsworth and wife Miranda, Gene Ainsworth and wife Danielle, Chris Hale and fiancé Sydney Lengefeld, Matthew Napier, Koty Fisher and Diego Vidal; great niece and nephew, Anna Brooke and Abram Ainsworth. Pallbearers will be Randy Russell, Brian Russell, Kerry Thompson, Randy Rhymes, David Frey and Hubert Crowell. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 28, 2013 from 5:00pm until 8:00 pm at Kilpatrick Funeral Home West Monroe.
