Funeral services for Michael Woods, 57, of Arcadia will be held 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the First Pentecostal Church of Arcadia, LA. Rev. Donnie Underwood will officiate. Interment will follow at Taylor Cemetery in Liberty Hill, LA under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.Michael was a member of the First Pentecostal Church in Arcadia. He worked as a waste water treatment operator for the town of Arcadia. Michael also served in the Army.Michael is preceded in death by his father, William Ferrell Woods, and brother Wayne Allen Woods.Survivors left to cherish Michael memory are his wife, Amy Jimmerson Woods of Arcadia, LA; daughters, Donita LaLisa Woods Vines and husband Aaron of Haynesville, LA; Candice Woods Wagar and husband Markus of Arcadia, LA; son Michael William Woods II of Homer, LA; sisters, Barbara Woods Dison of Spearsville, LA and Venus Poynter of Homer, LA; brother, John T. Butler, Jr. of Coushatta, LA; a special sister, Daiquiri Ashley of Shreveport, LA; mother, Carol L. Butler of Coushatta, LA; and 6 grandchildren. Also many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.Pallbearers honoring Michael will be James Smith, Caleb Black, Jason Black, Mack Underwood, Rodney Williams, and John Lonidier.Visitation will be from 5-8 PM on Tuesday, March 26 at the First Pentecostal Church in Arcadia.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
