Memorial services for Michael E. Redden, 67, of Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, July 11, 2022 in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, Louisiana.
Michael Redden was born on October 1, 1954 in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on July 5, 2022 at his home in Monroe.
Michael retired from Bell South after 35 years of dedicated service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, college football (Geaux Tigers), and spending time with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his never quit work ethic, Sunday phone calls, and most of all for his love and devotion to his family. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Bobby Redden of Monroe, Louisiana; his brother, Steve Redden of Monroe, Louisiana and his nephew, Robert Walls of San Antonio, Texas.
Michael is survived by his daughters, Megan Stanley (David) of Choudrant, Louisiana and Danielle Howell (Derek) of Corpus Christi, Texas; sister, Constance M. Walls of San Antonio, Texas and her son, Russell Walls; Loving former spouse and mother of his children, Greta Redden of Calhoun, Louisiana; grandchildren, Emily Snyder, Ryan Snyder, Bailey Snyder, Ethan Howell and Lanah Howell; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and other cherished family and friends.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M., Monday, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in West Monroe, Louisiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or a tree be planted in Michael’s honor.
