Luke was born June 25, 1987 in Monroe, Louisiana and entered into eternal rest on September 8, 2022. He was a friend to any and every person with whom he crossed paths. Protective, honest, and loyal were all words his close friends and family would use to describe him. Luke took care of the ones he loved, told the truth no matter what it was, and was loyal to a fault to those he cared for the most. If anyone reached out and needed Luke, he would be there for them regardless.
Luke loved and made his mark on many things throughout his short 35 years on this earth, but the true legacy he leaves behind is his “blondetourage” as he called it. Luke could always be found devoting his time and energies into his four girls whom he loved more than anything else in this world. Luke could always be found spending time with his “Smiley,” Maren Beth, preparing her for the softball fields; helping Elin find her confidence as he taught her to ride her bike without training wheels; and devoting his time to the one who first gave him his favorite role of being “daddy” and changed his entire world, Avah Grace. One of Luke’s greatest treasures was sharing his love of softball with her and teaching her how to become the catcher she is today.
Luke and his wife, Elizabeth, built a loving home in Monroe, Louisiana where not only all three of their daughters, but also their many friends could be found on any given day. It was not often you would enter the Peveto residence and only find their immediate family. Luke and Elizabeth ensured their hospitality extended far beyond the realms of their beautiful and blended family.
Luke was preceded in death by his brother, Cole Alexander Peveto; grandfather, Laurie Peveto, Jr.; grandmother, Jimmy Elizabeth Forbito; and mother-in-law, Mona Creel.
Luke is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Claire Creel Peveto; children, Avah Grace and Maren Elizabeth Peveto; step-daughter, Elin Audrina; parents, Sherry and Larry Peveto; grandfather, William Patrick Forbito; grandmother, Betty Geraldine Peveto; father-in-law, Thomas Wayne Creel; brothers-in-law, Brent Creel and wife Gina, Joshua Creel and wife Molly; nephew and nieces, Reid Creel, Katherine Creel and Blake Creel; and many other cherished family members.
