Funeral services for Michael L. Mike Smith, age 67 of Ruston, will be Thursday, January 2, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel of Ruston with Rev. Ruben Weaver officiating. Interment will be at Shady Grove Cemetery in Farmerville following services under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home-Ruston.Mike was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church of Ruston, LA. He enjoyed flying, it was his passion. He also was an avid fisherman. Mike was retired from AT&T after 38 years of service.Survivors include his wife, Debbie Kennedy Smith of Ruston, parents; John Samuel and Mary Jo Chandler Smith of Homer, LA, daughter: Carrie Fuller and husband Lemoine of Start, LA, grand-daughter; Selene Fuller, daughter; Leah Smith of Ruston and grand-sons; Tristan Brasseaux and Spencer McNabb, sister; Cindy Clark and husband Woody of Homer, LA, and several nieces and nephews.Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children Hospital.Pallbearers are Keith George, Stacey Kennedy, Casey Kennedy, Gary Kennedy, Woody Clark and Kip Yearwood.Visitation will be Wednesday, January 1, 2020, from 5:00-7:00 PM, at Kilpatrick Funeral Home-Ruston.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.kilpatrickfuneralhomes.com.
