Kenzie, I still can't believe this happened to you. You were my best friend in the entire world. I'll never forget all the nights we told daddy we were watching Scarface just so I could stay at your house for a few more hours. Then he finally gave in and just started letting me stay the night. I have so many great memories with you and I laugh & think of you everytime I see a can of sardines. I miss you so much, Mckenzie! I love you and you will be in my heart forever. I know you'll be watching over me until the day we meet again. You are the best gaurdian angel I could ever ask for. I will be forever grateful for the day you walked into my life and sat in the desk behind me in Mrs. Martin's 8th grade english class. I love you, Kenz! You're best friend, Linz.

We are truly and deeply saddened at McKenzie's passing. I can't think of another kid who possessed more life and more love of it. McKenzie brought joy and laughter into our house many times. His irrepressible energy was always welcome. God blessed us with this young man's spirit. We will always think of him with love.

Our brother and friend who now is in Heaven with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. We will see you soon & love you, Never to forget your smiling face
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.
