Maxine and Traxel were two of the wonderful saints at Northwest Hills UMC where I was Director of Music. I loved them both so much and was blessed to have received their love. I pray God’s blessings on all of the family.

Mrs Stevens lived a long and prosperous life. God blessed her with many gifts, and yet because of Adam and Eve's disobedience we get sick we grow old and we pass away. Jesus restored the hope of everlasting life. At Matthew 5:28,29 he says soon "all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out of the grave just as Lazarus did.

I met Mrs. Stevens, Maxine, when I was a student st Highland Park Elementary. She was the Librarian at the time. We got to know each other and pretty soon I was helping her in the library. I really loved her and really enjoyed helping her in the library. She was so nice to me. My mother also helped her in the Library. We were able to keep up because Barry and I were both in the band in Junior High and High School. I will always remember her wonderful smile and very nice personality. I know you miss her terribly but try to remember all the memories you had with her, and I am sure you will smile when you recall them.

I worked with Maxine and Traxel for many years at TSTA in Austin. We had so many good times together. She was a great friend and confidant. I babysat you two several times. What a great time in our lives. My daughter was born July 25th too! Quilts hanging on my wall right now that she sent to me after she moved to The Woodlands. As you can tell, I loved her dearly and will see her again in heaven.....
Peace of mind is a call away. We're here when you need us most.

Dear April,I’m so very sorry for your loss. She had a long and loving life and is now with our Lord! Please extend my condolences to your mom. I lost my dad last year. He was 101. He always said that he lived in the best generation; one of family, hard work, and respect!
