Graveside services for Maxine Barkley, 99, of West Monroe will be held at 11:30 A.M. on May 25, 2022 at the Hasley Cemetery Gazebo. Bro.Wes Pierce officiating. Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Kilpatrick Funeral Home, West Monroe.

The heavenly home going of Maxine Merle Henry Barkley was accomplished on May 19, 2022.

Maxine was born on June 18, 1922 to Dora Mattie Bridwell and Young Allen Gresham of Lincoln Parish. She is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Oliver Gordon (Buster) Henry Sr., and Shepherd Edward (Buster) Barkley, sons Oliver Gordon Henry Jr. and Daryl Lee Henry, and grandson Christopher Gordon Henry.

Maxine is survived by her grandson, Jonathan Jeremy Henry, great- granddaughters Christian Ell, Gabby Henry, Grayson Henry and Olivia Henry, two great grandchildren, Henry and Rawlings Ell and several cherished nieces and nephews.
