Funeral Services for Maurine Roberson Armstrong, 89, of Sterlington, La. will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Paron Baptist Church. Rev. Matt Coker will officiate. A visitation will be held for friends from 1:00 pm till time of service. The interment will be held at Rocky Branch Cemetery.

Maurine was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Armstrong, parents, Furmon and Minnie Roberson and two brothers, Wallace and Arthur Roberson.

Left to cherish her memories are her son Bill Brown (Debbie), daughter, Charlotte Tisdale (Ronnie), grandchildren, Chris Leonard (fiance ~ Olivia Bonner), Chip Tisdale and Casey Brown (Keshia); great-grandchildren, Katie Leonard (fiance ~ Patrick McCabe), Bryce Leonard, Bradley Brown, Dylan Brown and Mason Brown; a brother, J.M. Roberson (Jackie) and numerous nephews and a niece. Maurine dearly loved her family and the time they spent together. She was a blessing and inspiration to her Paron Baptist Church family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Rick Bowen, James Freeman, Ronnie Jones, Richard Moore, Hank Snell, and Gary Tubbs.

Memorials may be made in Maurine’s name to M.D. Anderson Hospital or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
