 Services celebrating the life of Mary Sue Harper of Rocky Branch, Louisiana will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, August 1, 2019, at Rocky Branch Baptist Church in Rocky Branch with Mr. William Lovett, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery in Rocky Branch, LA. Visitation will be from 12:00PM (noon) until the time of service on Thursday at the church.Mary Sue was born on May 24, 1934, in Farmerville, LA and passed away July 29, 2019, in Monroe, LA at the age of 85. She was known and loved by many as Sue Mama. She always had a cold glass of tea and something good to eat for all who entered her home. Mary Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Wilburn and Theda Ouchley, her brother, Kimble Ouchley and her son-in-law, Patrick Bryan.Mary Sue is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Charles Harper; two daughters, Joan Bryan of Rocky Branch, Martha Harper Barron and husband Dwight of Houston, TX; her grandchildren, Jay Bryan of Farmerville, LA, Jared Bryan of Houston, TX, Lauren Alyse Barron of Amsterdam, Netherlands, Trevor Barron of Kansas City, Missouri, Taylor Barron and wife Lauren Long Barron of Katy, TX; plus nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Fred Wayne Armstrong, Bill Franks, Jerrel Gates, Ronald Gates, Allen Pace and Ed Sawyer.
