I have many memories of Cousin Kay, but my fondest was her coming to Longview to visit my mother, Clara. She loved my mom so much and went out of her way to always check on her. My mom loved her Ruston family and was so grateful for Kay and Ellen and all the rest. Kay you are a beautiful soul and an inspiration for all followers of Jesus! Love you - Arty

Dear Harold and family, Words cannot express how much I hurt for you in your loss of Kay. Everyone loved her and her uplifting posts on FB. She was a true Christian lady in every sense of the word. I know she was as much a part of you as your every breath, Please know that so many prayers will be surrounding you with love during this sad time. I personally can relate to the empty feeling that comes from losing a life mate after years of togetherness. Love, Angie Brewster Alexander Green

Uncle Elgin was my grandfather’s brother. Kay always kept me updated about news from that side of my family. I am so sorry for your loss, and I will miss her, as well. Kay was a bright light to me after I lost my mom, Bobbye Norris Brown. May God hold you tight as you celebrate her life.

I remember how beautiful you were as a neighbor and friend as well as mother to one of my best high school friends. Loved growing up in space estates with you around. I know you’re flying with the angels. You will be missed. Big hugs to your family.

My mother, Sandra Chandler Bryan, was one of the Eastland kids mentioned in your obituary. I shared 1940's and 1950's photos of those kids with you last year. We so enjoyed visiting with you and Harold last year. Our next visit will have to be in the Lord's kingdom! - Roy Bryan
