Kathy was born October 1, 1959 in Little Rock, AR and passed away April 24, 2023 in Sterlington, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Freeman; parents Johnny and Mae Bass; brother John Bass; sisters Beverly Bass, and LaDonna Callendar.
Kathy is survived by her sons Jason Phillips and spouse Adam Asher, Steven Phillips and spouse Jessica; daughter Ashley Freeman; son Justin Freeman and spouse Zonya; sisters LaReda Tidwell and husband David, and Brenda Bass; grandsons Cameron Phillips and wife Lily, Cole Phillips and Christian Freeman; granddaughters Casey Phillips and Kaylee Freeman; great-granddaughter Stella Kate Phillips; many nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Christian Freeman, Tyson Nolan, Dylan Bass, James Clark, David Scott and Corey Black.
