Funeral services for Mary “Toady” Jordan, 87, of Downsville, LA will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at River of Life Assembly of Downsville with Pastor Ryan Spillers officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

Mary was born May 24, 1934 and passed away on August 27, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Lee Jordan; father, James Tedeton; mother, Florene Barnes Tedeton; brothers, Huey Tedeton, Herbert Tedeton, James Edward Tedeton, infant, William Allen Tedeton, infant; sisters, Lola Monk, Elsie Acree, Nellie Strickland, and infant, Florence Priscilla Tedeton.

Mary is survived by her brother, Jack Tedeton; sons, Donald Jordan and wife Dianne, and Dwayne Jordan and wife Anita; grandchildren, Donna Austin and husband Mike, Lessie Clark and husband Jamey, Patricia Nelson and husband Danny, Melonie Monk and husband James; 10 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Mary was retired from Selig Manufacturing. She loved her church, singing in the choir, shopping, and riding motorcycles as a younger girl.

Pallbearers will be Danny Nelson, Ethan Nelson, Alex Clark, Jamey Clark, Jaden Monk, James Monk, Nathan Nelson, and James Tedeton. Honorary pallbearers will be Jordan Clark and Mike Austin.
